  • Each semester is 10 weeks long, with nine weeks of teaching.
  • Each degree programme is made up of modules of study.
  • Each module is a specialised unit of learning which is worth a number of credits (usually 20 credits).
  • You will study 6 modules each academic year (a maximum of 120 credits).
  • In one week, you will study two modules, 8 hours per week over two days.
  • "The Arden University teaching approach is to teach you in small groups, no lecturer theatres holding 200 students here". In the classroom, we encourage you to take an active role in your learning.
  • Guided by expert lecturers, you can expect to take part in a wide variety of exciting activities designed to deepen your learning: from case study analysis to student led seminars, we bring the real world into the classroom.
  • Alongside your face to face sessions, each module has a set of online learning materials that have been designed specifically for the module.
  • You will access these materials via our virtual learning environment (VLE) which is called iLearn.
  • You study on iLearn each week at your own pace, referring to your study materials when it is time to complete assignments.
  • We also have a fully stocked online library that includes everything you need for your degree: from textbooks to specialist databases.
